and, thrice, hurray
I'm going to Sheffield by train tomorrow evening, following some meetings at the Uni, and returning on Saturday afternoon. I'm going to be celebrant at a ceremony on Saturday morning, when four members of the Amida Sheffield sangha renew their vows whereby they are members of Amida-shu, the Amida School. They were all due to travel up here but S is not well enough so I offered to go there. And we'll be able to conduct the ceremony at her house, in front of her own shrine. I've been writing the ceremony today and have just printed it out.
And, the upside of being an Older Person - I've just received a Senior Railcard, for which I applied on line. It cost £20 for the year - and I've already saved £17 for this return rail fare.
A day of many blessings.
