prayer for world peace

This afternoon I attended the Catholic 'Commission for Inter-Religious Relations' event "Prayer for World Peace' at St Mary's Cathedral, Newcastle upon Tyne. I carried the globe in the entry procession.

I'm sorry that I wasn't aware that you are called Rev. Sujatin! Forgive me for my ignorance.....is that the equivalent of a Buddhist monk or pastor?

It was arranged by the local Catholic Inter-Religious organisation.

Yes, I'm a priest. In the Pureland Buddhist traditition priests can be married - specifically, I'm a minister and perform a similar function to a Christian minister - ie I can perform marriage blessings, child namings and funerals and I'm Buddhist Chaplain at Newcastle University
